The Winston Tower is a 29-story high rise, originally completed in 1966. The building served as the corporate headquarters for Wachovia Bank and now provides office space to various businesses and non-profit companies.
As part of the renovation of this building, Warco renewed the water mains with new tie-ins to existing branch lines and replaced the existing DW pressure boosters.
Throughout the seven-month project, all work was pre-arranged and planned around the tenants’ work schedule, allowing the building to maintain an active working environment.
The building remained occupied, and no floor was closed to tenants. As a part of this commitment, Warco handled the public areas of the building after hours to avoid any disruptions. The final project was completed on time and on budget with no work-related injuries.
