The Flow Lexus of Winston-Salem was a relocation of an established luxury automobile dealership. With over 100,000 square feet, this new location includes a showroom, customer lounge and service area. Warco installed normal plumbing systems throughout the entire facility. In addition, Warco provided compressed air piping and site utilities as well as the design, manufacture and installation of oil distribution systems.
Installing New Oil and Waste Fluid Distribution Systems:
Handling new oil and waste fluids such as antifreeze and used oil can present challenges at auto dealerships. Warco was able to utilize existing systems and design, build and install new systems that monitor and distribute these fluids.
The new oil system includes over 20 oil reels that dispense new oil at each bay using the MCO fluid monitoring system. Warco installed this system, which measures oil consumption at each mechanic’s station, allowing efficient inventory management of the entire service area and automatic customer pricing.
Additionally, the system provides the exact amount of oil in the oil distribution system to the specific mechanic’s station, reducing waste. Accurate installation of this system was crucial to the daily operation of the service area.
The waste fluid system, designed, manufactured and installed by Warco, removes used fluids from a portable drum at each mechanic’s station and deposits them in a 1,000 gallon storage tank.
Warco completed this job on schedule, on budget and without any on-the-job injuries.
