Coastal Carolina University

The 3-story, 52,000 square foot Athletic Training Facility at Coastal Carolina University is a LEED Silver project, consisting of locker rooms, weight rooms, training and meeting rooms, coaches’ offices and athletic administration offices.  Scheduled for completion in early 2010, the building utilizes a complex mechanical system with a PVI water system, water heater and high efficiency fixtures.

Warco has installed a standard water/storm/sewer cast iron system utilizing electronic water and gas meters that monitor use and efficiency, communal shower system, sensor and low-flow valves in lavatories, showers, water closets and urinals.

Warco’s green building expertise and technical experience has facilitated the success of this project. The Warco team has met every interim deadline and is set to complete the project on schedule, on budget without any work-related injuries.
